Clubhouse envisions a community of mutual acceptance free of the
shame associated with mental illness, a world defined by equality
among all individuals as team members, valued friends and neighbors.
Members experience another person looking in their eyes with the
words, “Today I need you…” |
Mission The
Wallingford Clubhouse mission is to find each day for each member
the experience of being needed by the people nearby. Following the
internationally_accredited_model
of clubhouse programs, Wallingford Clubhouse engages members in
daily work and relationships, offers hands-on job readiness preparation,
and facilitates with local employers for Clubhouse members to join
the work force. |
